1. SOHOTON NATURAL BRIDGE NATIONAL PARK (Basey, Samar)
Get a chance to enjoy nature in the Sohoton Natural Bridge National Park in Basey, Samar. Usually referred to as Sohoton caves, the 8 sq. km. park surely catches tourists' attention! Visit it now using a boat that can be chartered in Tacloban, or more cheaply, in Basey in Samar. Experience a once in a lifetime boat ride up a winding river, with all the small villages, jungles, and all those refreshing stuff!
Did you know? Each cave in the park has different sizes, shapes and moods. It has a variety of stalactites and stalagmites. Some walls are even made out of sparkling crystal!

2. HOMONHON ISLAND (Eastern Samar)
Go back in time to this beautiful island in Eastern Samar! With its rich historical background, Homonhon Island is truly a remarkable site. The famous historical site in Guiuan is currently known to be the island where Ferdinand Magellan first landed in the Philippines in 1521. The deep stream called Cantilado is believed to be where he first came ashore. It has a quiet atmosphere - a pretty island with sandy coconut-lined beaches, cliffs, and rocky promontories.
Come and get tickets to Tacloban, now! From there, you could get rides to Guiuan. In the Guiuan Transport Terminal, you can take boat rides to Homonhon for the whole family.
Homonhon Island is a great place to relax and refresh. Take in and appreciate the essence of history in the place!
3. AGTA BEACH RESORT (Biliran)
Looking for a place to relax and refresh? Agta Beach Resort in Biliran is the place for you! With it being the first ever scuba resort in the province, it is a haven for scuba divers. The famous beach paradise is probably the most popular beach in Biliran. Take a dive into its interesting diving spots and tranquil waters!
Did you know? Agta Beach Resort is mostly known for its slow-roasted chicken! Yummy! Better be quick to go to the place - might miss their delicious roasted chicken!
4. BANGON FALLS (Western Samar)
Take in a breath-taking view in this mouth-drooling water paradise! Also known as Bangon Bugtong Falls, the fascinating waterfall is a popular place for tourists. How good would it be to swim in its waters! This is actually quite possible. The only way to the main fall is to pass through the water cascades! Get your slippers ready!
